New year, new vintage.
The 2007 vintage is going on the market.
All red wines made at the winery are aged in oak for twelve month and in the bottle at the winery for at least three years until the wine maker says that the wines are ready to be released.
Being a young winery this vintage will be our third sold under the quality label "Vino de Pago". Among the wines released for this vintage we are including for the first time ever Malbec-Cabernet, which is a fresh addition to our "Pago" wines.
Our most commercial wines will continue to be Merlot-Tempranillo-Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon-Syrah. Along with these we will continue with the limited Petit Verdot monovarietal wine, as well as 5,000 bottles of our new Malbec-Cabernet Franc.
We held a pretasting of the 2007 vintage at the winery in November as part of the events organized by the city of Manzanares, called "Manzanares, soul and wine". During the event, locals had the chance to taste the 2012 vintage directly from the tanks, as well as the four wines that will be released very soon.
